This is the Compass Edition of OnCourse Goggles, which will help you reduce sighting and swim straight in open water. This edition utilizes the same patented electronic compass technology as our award winning OnCourse Goggles. The Compass Edition does not provide Drift Mode feedback or utilize a GNSSS (GPS) Module. Swimmers who desire GPS accuracy and Drift Mode detection should order the full featured OnCourse Goggles. This model is geared towards swimmers who swim mostly in calm waters, without currents of water or wind that can push the swimmer off course laterally. Race Legal, our Compass Edition open water swimming goggles are approved for all sanctioned events by USAT, IRONMAN, WTC and LIFE TIME. OnCourse Goggles reduce anxiety, save precious energy and improve performance by reducing zig-zag. The swimmer presses a button to store a target bearing for the electronic compass; the angular directions of the user are then monitored by the micro-controller. Feedback LEDs in the eyepieces inform the user if they are on course, or have deviated from the target.
Like OnCourse Goggles, the Compass Edition was designed for swimmers looking for an inner orbit fit (inner eye fit). This same great shape covers swimmers that have the most common size eye sockets, or are accustomed to goggles that fit within the eye socket (Most all swimmers). The soft silicone gaskets in our goggles provide extended comfort over longer periods of time. All models of OnCourse Goggles feature polarized lenses, anti-fog coating, UV protection, good field of vision, with a comfortable strap. Can be charged with any USB port or charger. Battery life of the Basic Edition is greater than 24 hours after a full charge. Supplied with a dual port USB automotive adapter rated at 3.1 amps, a beautiful padded mesh carrying bag and a white silicone USB cable that can be used with all models of OnCourse Goggles, Samsung Phones (micro USB) and other micro USB devices. One cable can be used across multiple devices.
